This is a site for model horses custom painted by me, Karla Rankin. I’ve spent a lot of time striving for realism in my paint work. If they look real, that’s the goal! All horses are painted with an airbrush using professional quality acrylic paint. Details are hand painted with various mediums. The high caliber of my work has been continuously tested over the years through live showing. They’ve been judged on quality of workmanship, realism and accuracy.
